Fall Dry Fly Fishing on the Bighorn River

The video below showcases some outstanding dry fly action that occurred on October 26th, 2011.
Dave Palmer is the angler and videographer. Fish were rising to Baetis mayflies. We’re continuing to receive reports of great dry fly fishing on the calm days. Fish have been rising throughout the upper 25 miles below Afterbay Dam. Not a bad time of year to be here if you pick a good weather window.
