Bighorn River Early Morning Dry Flies

Bill & Matt Walters enjoy some early-morning dry fly action on the Bighorn River in Montana. The “Meat Hole” is once again the scene of the action. Trout were feeding on a variety of midges, spinners, caddis, whatever. All these fish were hooked on a tan caddis pattern. At 1:13 of the video you’ll see a blue heron fly straight at the group, then veer off at the last second. Guess they boys were in his fishing hole. Bighorn Trout Shop guide, David Palmer, was the man with the net and the camera.
