caught in the 20 + inch range. Nymph fishing continues to most productive  with sowbugs size 12 – 16, midge pupa size 18 and mature Blue Winged Olive nymph patterns in size 18 taking nice trout regularly also.

A few nice fish, especially on rain filled day have been taken on streamers. After yesterdays rain we had some very good midge cluster fishing in the evening, with a few baetis in the mix bringing fish to the surface.

The Rainbow Trout spawn is in full swing so please “mind the redd” in order to protect the next generation of fish. Flows are currently at 3,500 cfs which is ideal for wade and boat fishing. We expect flows to go up at some point as inflows into Bighorn Lake increase. So far, no dramatic bumps in flow are in the works.

The shop is open daily from 7am – 6pm for all of your fly, gear, shuttle, license and equipment needs. WE ARE HAVING A MASSIVE SALE ON OVERSTOCK/DISCONTINUED WADERS AND BOOTS IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET!
