The Best Strike Indicator

zoomThe history of Bighorn River strike indicators is as follows: In the beginning there were corkys, followed on the second day by yarn. Then there were balloons. Finally, there are Thingamabobbers. Thingamabobbers use "trapped air technology" to create an indicator that is very buoyant, extremely sensitive, highly visible, casts easily, and can be easily moved up or down the leader. What more do you need from an indicator? The vast majority of guides here on the Horn are now using them. Thingamabobbers come in three different sizes. We use the small size for shallow-water wade fishing, and the medium for most everything else. The large size is applicable for high water and LOTS of lead. Price for a pack is $5.50. Thingamabobbers are very durable.
